Senate Appointment Form
Eligibility Requirements
For appointment to the Student Senate, you must:
- Be currently enrolled at UT Dallas (at least 9 SCH for undergraduate students, 6 SCH for graduate students)
- Not be on scholastic or disciplinary probation with the University
- Be available to attend Senate meetings
- Attend at least one Senate and one committee meeting prior to appointment
Note: No appointments may take place while any Student Government election is underway. This includes filing and campaigning periods.
Available Seats
Appointment Applications are currently closed. Applications will open up the week after fall voting has ended (September 22nd) as seats open up.
In order to be appointed, you must be eligible to fill a seat that is currently unoccupied. A number of seats are allocated for students from each academic school, for freshman, graduate, and transfer students, as well as at-large seats, which are open to all students. The following seats are currently open for appointment:
